? GASTON, b. 178?. He married Jane ?, b. 1786 in SC.

For the 1820, 1830, & 1840 Monroe Co., AL censuses there is a John Gaston with wife and daughters the right ages to be this family. No death record or probate has been found to prove this connection. In 1850, Jane is a widow, with daughter, Martha, living in Natchitoches Pr., LA, next door to her daugher Sarah and son-in-law, Richard Williamson. She and Martha are on the 1860 Natchitoches Pr., LA, census then are not found on later census listings for Louisiana.

DURR, b. 12 Mar 1816 in SC, d. 14 Jul 1900 in Natchitoches Pr., LA, bur. Beulah Methodist Church-Natchitoches Pr., LA.
  2. Jane GASTON, b. 31 Mar 1820 in AL, d. 16 Jan 1897 in Natchitoches Pr., LA, bur. in Marthaville Cemetery-Marthaville, Natchitoches, LA. She married Silas M. CRUMP, b. 16 Jan 1828 in AL/TN (s/o Charles L. CRUMP & Cynthia BARNHILL), d. 22 Feb 1895 in Natchitoches Pr., LA, bur. Marthaville Cemetery-Marthaville, Natchitoches, LA.
  3. Sarah GASTON, b. 1818-25 in AL, d. 1860-70 in LA. She married 28 Aug 1838 in Monroe Co., AL, Richard WILLIAMSON, b. 1810-15 in SC, d. 1860-70 in LA.
  4. Martha GASTON, b. 1826 in AL.
