Family reunions are a time-honored tradition. It is a time to enjoy the fellowship of others who share your family history and genetics. If you went one as a child, come back again as an adult to see those cousins you haven't seen since childhood.
William Rufus Durr Family - 1st Saturday of July
Known as Memorial Day, Homecoming, or Decoration Day, many Southern cemeteries have one day set aside each year for family and friends to honor their departed. In the days and weeks preceding this special day cemeteries are cleaned and fresh flowers are arranged. Many cemeteries have a "dinner on the grounds" picnic for the living to share food and fellowship. Here is information on the some of the cemeteries where many of the Durrs are buried.
